After having 4 Polyps removed due to the Bowel Screening Programme, 1 was found cancerous. I was transferred to Miss Patel who made arrangements for me to see Professor Hill at Manchester Royal for a second opinion. They are now keeping an eye on me with regular Sigmoidoscopys and scans and everyone in Miss Patels Department have gone above and beyond to keep me in the loop.

Miss Patel potentially saved my life on two occasions. Her skill is unsurpassed and her devotion to her patients exemplary. After thee second operation (a Sigmoid Colectomy) when things deteriorated, although she was off duty, she came in to check that I was receiving the correct treatment. Miss Patel potentially saved my life. She untwisted my twisted colon and in another operation carried out a Sigmoid Colectomy. Her skill is unsurpassed and her devotion to her patients exemplary. When things deteriorated, although she was off duty, she came in to check that I was receiving the correct treatment.
